Stripers are believed to live up to 30 years and range in size of 2 to 50 pounds.
Stripers spend most of their time in the salt-water region (San Francisco Bay & Delta water system) before making their way up our fresh water systems, (Sacramento & Feather Rivers) for their annual spawns that take place from March through May.

King salmon are also known as Chinook salmon. They are a native fish to our North Pacific Ocean and our North American river systems. Chinook salmon are the largest species in the Pacific salmon family. They spend on average 3 to 4 years out in the ocean before returning to their homes up, the Sacramento & Feather Rivers, to spawn.
Chinook salmon range in size from 10 to 50 pounds with an average of 15 to 20 pounds. Mid July through November are your best months to catch theses powerful chrome fighting fish.
These prehistoric fish are the largest fish found in our fresh water systems, they grow up to 20 feet in length and weigh 1500 pounds or more. Sturgeons are known to live for more than a 100 years. Hooking into a white sturgeon is a fight of a lifetime one that you will never forget.
These monster fish are protected by slot limit of 40″ to 60″. Mid December through March are the best months to hook into one of these great tasting fish.
